These terms govern your use of vexil3dlabs.co.za and any purchase you make from Vexil 3D Labs (Pty) Ltd (“Vexil,” “we,” “us,” “our”). By using this site or placing an order, you agree to them.

What We Sell

Vexil sells 3D printer filament (ERYONE, Creality, SA Filament and Soleyin brands), custom 3D printing services, and digital products (slicer configuration files, the Print Cost Calculator, and similar downloads). Product descriptions, images and pricing are as accurate as we can make them at the time of listing — colours may vary slightly from photos due to screen display differences, and stock levels can change between browsing and checkout.

Pricing and Payment

  • All prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR) and are VAT-inclusive unless stated otherwise.
  • We accept EFT and card payments; card payments are processed securely through PayFast.
  • An order is only confirmed once payment has been received and you’ve received an order confirmation email — adding an item to your cart doesn’t reserve stock or lock in a price.
  • We reserve the right to correct a listed price that’s clearly a pricing error before an order is confirmed, and to cancel and refund an order affected by such an error.

Shipping and Delivery

  • We ship nationwide within South Africa via PUDO and The Courier Guy.
  • Orders over R1,500 qualify for free shipping; a shipping fee applies below that threshold, shown at checkout before you pay.
  • We don’t offer local hand-delivery — all orders, including those local to Alberton, are shipped via courier or available for collection by prior appointment.
  • Delivery timeframes shown at checkout are estimates, not guarantees — delays with courier partners are outside our control, though we’ll help track down a lost or significantly delayed parcel.

Custom 3D Printing Orders

  • You’re responsible for the files you send us — by submitting a design for printing, you confirm you own it, have a licence to use it, or it’s otherwise legally printable, and that it doesn’t infringe anyone else’s intellectual property.
  • We reserve the right to decline a print job — including for files that appear to infringe copyright, depict weapons or unsafe items, or that we’re not equipped to print reliably.
  • Custom prints are made to your specification and are covered by our Refund & Returns Policy’s rules on made-to-order goods, not the general change-of-mind window.

Your Right to Cancel

Full detail is in our Refund & Returns Policy — in short, you can cancel most orders within 7 days of receiving them under ECTA section 44, with some exclusions (opened filament, custom prints, downloaded digital products).

Intellectual Property

Everything on this site — text, images, logos, the Vexil name and branding, and our own digital products (config files, the Print Cost Calculator) — belongs to Vexil or is used under licence. You’re welcome to use our site to shop and to reference our content for personal, non-commercial purposes, but you can’t reproduce, resell, or repurpose our content, product photography, or digital products without asking us first.

Limitation of Liability

We take care to get your order right, but to the fullest extent the law allows:

  • We’re not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from a delayed, damaged, or incorrect order — our liability is limited to putting the specific order right (repair, replacement, or refund).
  • We’re not liable for how a printed part performs once it leaves us, particularly for custom or functional prints — you’re responsible for confirming a part is fit for its intended use before relying on it, especially for load-bearing, safety-relevant, or structural applications.
  • Nothing in this section limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act that can’t lawfully be excluded.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any dispute will be handled under South African law and, where applicable, through the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud (CGSO) or the National Consumer Commission before litigation.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time — the current version always applies to orders placed after it’s published. Material changes will be reflected by an updated date below.
