Key Features
- Carbon-fibre-reinforced nylon (PA-CF) for high stiffness, strength and impact resistance
- Self-lubricating wear resistance – well suited to gears and moving parts
- Significantly higher heat resistance than standard PLA, PETG or ABS
- Low-warp, dimensionally stable prints for precision functional parts
- Matte black technical finish
Recommended Print Settings
- Nozzle temperature: 260–290°C
- Bed temperature: 80–100°C (use a glue stick or similar for adhesion)
- Cooling fan: off
- Print speed: below 100mm/s
- Drying: dry before use – 80°C for 8–12 hours; nylon is highly moisture-sensitive and should be stored sealed with desiccant (below 20% RH)
- Nozzle: hardened steel nozzle required – carbon fibre wears brass nozzles quickly
- Enclosure: recommended for best dimensional stability
Compatible Printers
- Any FDM printer with a hardened nozzle and a hotend rated to at least 290°C, ideally with an enclosure
- Suitable machines include the Creality K1 / K1 Max / K1C / K2 Plus and Bambu Lab X1/P1 series
- Not compatible with AMS / AMS Lite multi-material systems – load manually
